This principle is aimed at getting rid of any discrimination based on company allegiance. All people, no matter how they are employed on the project, ought to be committed to project goals. And all contributors should expect equal consideration of their needs in execution of their job. This includes comfortable quarters and opportunity for rest, as well as an efficient workplace.
Items 5 and 6 can be visualised by imagining a Group photograph of the team, onshore and offshore; if the photographer stands far enough back from the Group it would be difficult to make out “who does what” and what company’s coveralls they were wearing. Neither 5 nor 6 eliminate the hierarchical structure (the ultimate decision may rest with only one person or Company), but it recognises and encourages the contribution that can be made by everyone.
Equal rights to a safe workplace, to be heard, to be valued.
