In July 2016, rp² were engaged to facilitate a 2-day DWOP in Egypt. Eight break-out groups generated 48 actions items, 8 identified as high priority. The groups felt empowered to investigate well-cost savings and identified potential savings of $240,000 for the well with a further $500,000 for subsequent wells. -
Congo 2016
In June 2016, rp² were engaged to facilitate a 2-day DWOP in the Republic of Congo. 13 groups at the two sessions generated 102 action items, 31 of which were labelled as high priority. Whilst it was not a declared aim of the meeting, as with all DWOPs facilitated by rp², the groups felt empowered to investigate well-cost savings and identified potential savings of $1.25 million for this first well and total savings of up to $12.2 million if applied across the campaign. -
2 successful workshops completed in Japan 2016
In March 2016, rp² were engaged to facilitate a 2-day DWOP & HAZID in Japan. 8 breakout teams developed 70 actions by the end of the DWOP and the HAZID team identified and discussed over 50 identified risks. Following on from the success of the DWOP/HAZID, rp² returned to Japan to conduct a 2-day TWOP & HAZID in May 2016. 4 breakout teams developed 50 actions by the end of TWOP and the HAZID team identified and discussed 66 identified risks. -
Egypt 2014
We were invited by the BP Egypt Deepwater team to help them tackle performance. The wells (HPHT) were very challenging, and whilst technically-successful, it was clear that the well times (and costs) needed to be dramatically reduced. The end result? The wells team announced that they had been recognised as the best team within BP global, based on both safety and efficiency metrics. -
Congo 2014
Another DWOP facilitated by rp² in Pointe Noire, Republic of Congo in September 2014. The 2 day event was attended by 51 attendees and was regarded as a complete success by all. 62 actionable items were identified by 9 breakout teams. In addition to the documented results of the event, was the immeasurable team building value. -
Indonesia 2014
Relentless Pursuit of Perfection facilitated a Drill-Well-on-Paper (DWOP) for a complex 10 well development offshore Indonesia. As a result of excellent planning, execution and teamwork the first 9 wells were drilled 45 days ahead of plan with NPT of only 6.8%% over a campaign of 264 days.
